The state of Michigan is situated in the Midwest region of the United States of America and placed right in the heart of the Great Lakes area. This state is probably best known for its water and activities that have to do with water.
The biggest city Michigan is Detroit, also know as the Motor City, but it is not he capitol city of Michigan. This nick name came about because so many of the major motor manufacturers were operating from Detroit at the beginning of the Motor Vehicle revolution.
